House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee to Hold Hearing

House Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee will hold a hearing on housing tax issues related to the redevelopment of the communities affected by the Katrina, Rita and Wilma hurricanes on Tuesday, March 13, 2007.

The Subcommittee hearing is to examine the obstacles to timely and appropriate redevelopment in these areas and discuss possible options for facilitating recovery. Submissions for the record not exceeding ten pages may be made by going to the Committee homepage http://waysandmeans.house.gov . At the bottom of the page is a section "Oversight". Please click on "hearings" in that section. A new screen will appear. Click on "Hearing on Katrina Redevelopment Tax Issues". That will cause another screen to appear. Click on "Click here to provide a Submission for the Record". This must be completed by close of business Tuesday, March 12, 2007.
